Best deal ever

Due to the annoying restrictions of the elimination diet, I've totally avoided going out to eat, since most restaurants put all kinds of no-no items into their dishes. This has saved me lots of money and made social visits more interesting since I need to find alternative activities to meeting for lunch or dinner. (I've started suggesting people meet me for walks... then we both get exercise and some sunshine)
Anyway, after almost two weeks of no restaurant visits, I find myself at the only taqueria in the Mission still open at 1:50am with a couple of starving friends seeking post-clubbing nourishment. I stare at the menu, and deep in the burrito section there's the following item:
Extra meat: 2.25
"Um, can I just order the extra meat?" (chicken is ok)
The guy tells me it's not much meat at all, and I should get a taco since it's the same price.
"No, I just want the chicken"
After some more negotiation I switch to Spanish. Eventually he agrees.
Some time later they realize that since the restaurant is closing in 10min, they might as well cook and serve me *all* of their remaining chicken.
So for $2.25, I got approximately 16oz of freshly grilled chicken, more than would fit in one of their burritos even if it was the only ingredient.
Woot.
