I typed "dollars per pound" into Google, expecting a currency conversion, and instead I got:

"1 U.S. dollar per pound = 2.20462262 U.S. Dollars / kg"

Wow, that's the strongest (or the heaviest) I've seen it. :-)

That's a very amusing result.

The syntax you want is "N dollar(s) in pounds": for example, "1 dollar in pounds" gave me back "1 U.S. dollar = 0.67755268 British pounds".
