Awesome. Now I really want to see an infrared film of dropping a boiling stone into water raised to supercritical temperature.

Heh. Sounds like fun. I'd have to figure out a good way of protecting the camera beyond the IR-transparent trash bag I use now. Or, I could get a telephoto lens and film from far away.

Then all you need is the robotic arm to drop the boiling stone, so that the humans doing the filming don't get third-degree burns from the splatter, and you're set! (Ironically, that's probably pretty easy to do in this town.)
