Laser-cut wood Christmas presents

I'm trying to replace as much Christmas shopping as possible with my own craft projects.  My motivation is not necessarily saving money but instead is more a matter of making something creative as opposed to something mass-produced.

I've been experimenting with laser cutting intricate wood patterns to make Christmas tree ornaments, table centerpieces, coasters, and other interesting pieces.  I'm still in the middle of the experimentation phase, but I thought I'd share anyway.
