I was sleepy on the flight, but I'm giddy now.

Of course, I haven't officially traveled around the world until I get up to San Francisco again. :-)

I will write about American Heartland Road Trip (St Louis - Chicago) and technomadism later.

For now I'm a tourist in the Bay Area. I grabbed some brochures. There's a whole pamphlet on exciting attractions in Santa Clara.

My cellphone isn't operational yet -- that should start tomorrow.

Oh, and it's about time US airports started offering free wireless!

*Some* have free wireless. San Diego, Las Vegas, Long Beach, Albuquerque, and I believe Ontario, CA too, according to my and my source's poor memories. I don't choose airports based on wireless, though I probably would try to if I flew standby and didn't have such a huge pile of books to read.

Welcome back around! SJ airport not only has free WiFi, but it's wicked fast. This list of US airports with free WiFi seems to have about 200 on there: http://www.wififreespot.com/airport.html
