... and the view from the top of the Coast Guard lookout tower on Yerba Buena Island.  (I of course never would trespass on government property, so obviously this photo was taken by someone else)  Note how the behavior of the water passing through the bridge affects the reflection of the light.

Park(ing) day

A few years ago, some artists turned an urban parking space into a small park, paying the meter to make sure it was legal.
It was fun, and there was a message in there somewhere about reclaiming urban public space for more human-scale use.

Apparently this movement is getting bigger, especially in New York.
