Applying for individual health insurance is a massive ordeal fraught with stress and trouble.  Unlike the application for group health insurance that is available through your employer, the individual application involves extensively documenting your health records over the last decade.  However, after spending about 14 hours researching the whole system and doing the applications, I now have a really good idea how it works.   It's a decision that's worth spending some time on, as it is something you'll ultimately end up paying something between $100,000 and $400,000 for over the course of your adult life.  It's up there with buying a house.

Wow! I can't wait to learn more about HEALTH INSURANCE! THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!!! )
