Last night I had a dream in which I accidentally lay down in a patch of poison oak in a meadow. In the dream, I ran to the nearest convenience store, bought several bottles of Tecnu, and rubbed it all over my body just as the itching started. (In reality it takes 6-12 hours for itching to set in)

Later, I woke up, and several parts of my body itched. It wasn't until I took a shower that the itching subsided.

Yes, that's how much power your imagination has over your perception of the physical world. Use it wisely.
