Liquid metal sculpture
Aug. 1st, 2006 11:12 pmI'm on a sadly too-short trip to Boston this week.
I saw a highly interesting new kind of sculpture today... a sculptor made shapes using liquid metal and electromagnets.
The videos are amazing, seeing it live is even better.

I finally got some time off tonight, and I wandered around the neighborhood in Cambridge where I lived for a few months 6 years ago. It was a balmy night. I ate at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, ordered my favorite avocado milkshake, and soaked up the echoes of old memories of a time that set my life in the direction it is now.
