oh yes ... I know that feeling. I carry a 1->5 surge protector with me on the road at all times, but cars have at most two 12VDC adapters, so it's a race between my DC-AC converter, my ipod radio tuner, and my GPS unit.
I need to get a 1->2 or 1->3 car adapter splitter (and blow the fuse on my next rental car, for sure)
