I'm curious, what time of the day did you go, and how did you find the actual shopping experience (apart from the awesomeness of all that's available)? I love Berkeley Bowl but usually can't stand to shop there because of the crushing crowds, and there seems to be neither rhyme nor reason to when they're busy and when they're not.
